My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. While it boasts a good location with nice views, the service and dining experiences were lacking. The rooms were not as clean as I hoped and the amenities felt outdated. The hot spring was decent, but everything else failed to impress me.

I had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. While the location was great with breathtaking views of the river and mountains, the overall condition of the place left a lot to be desired. The rooms and facilities felt old and poorly maintained, and the dining options didn’t meet my expectations for a Japanese Onsen. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're looking for a quality hot spring experience.

Rooms

The room offered a stunning view of the river and mountains, but it felt quite old and not well-maintained. The presence of mold detracted from the stay.

Service was lacking; staff didn’t communicate well in English and the check-in process felt rushed and confusing.
Location

The hotel is ideally situated with a beautiful mountain view and is a short walk from a tourist attraction. However, the lobby nearby had a constant smell of smoke that was unpleasant.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was below average; the all-you-can-eat offerings felt more like an afterthought than a proper Japanese meal.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities looked aged and poorly maintained. The hot spring pools were not as inviting as I hoped, and the arcade area felt outdated.

I had high hopes for this hotel, especially since it was walkable from the train station and near some attractions. Sadly, the experience was disappointing. The check-in process was confusing and the room cleanliness was far below my expectations. The food was subpar and the dining area had an unpleasant smell. On the upside, I did enjoy the private hot spring, but overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here given the state of the facilities and food.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious, but unfortunately very dirty with mold. The view was obstructed and the overall condition was concerning.

Dining

6.2/10

The resort has a pleasant onsen and comfortable rooms, but it's starting to show its age and has some maintenance issues. While the dining experience wasn't bad, it falls short of what one might expect from a traditional Japanese onsen. There are also some cleanliness concerns and limited Wi-Fi access. Overall, it's a decent place for a stay, but I might explore other options next time.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were comfortable with a nice living room, bed, and bathroom, but there was a lingering smell of cigarettes. The view of the mountains and the small waterfall was a highlight.
Service
6.0
Service was a bit lacking in communication, especially since some staff didn’t speak English. They were kind and did their best to assist, but it still felt confusing at times.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located near various attractions, but the nearby lobby has a strong smoke smell, which isn’t pleasant.
Dining
6.0
The dining options for breakfast and dinner were acceptable, with a decent variety, but it didn't measure up to Japanese standards for an onsen experience.
Facilities
5.0
The onsen facilities were decent, but there were cleanliness issues and the outdoor pool lacked adequate lighting.
